How to substitute plastic products

Unfortunately, nowadays plastic is nearly everywhere. However, plastic products can often be substituted with more environmentally friendly alternatives. Julia Brunner shares five of her favourite plastic alternatives to show how easy it can be to get rid of unnecessary plastic.

Fruit and vegetable nets can be bought in many supermarkets and a lot of people already have leftover glass jars in their households. Therefore, it might even be cheaper to first look through your household and see what you already have before you buy more stuff. However, if you already plan to buy a new set of reusable cutleries or need new straws, it is worth the effort to look up some plastic-free products.
